Music

Welcome to my music page!

There is a wealth of resources here (see the full table at the bottom of this page) for congregations, choirs, cantors, soloists, amateur and professional singers – about 75 songs and choral pieces. More and more of my music is being used by communities in the USA, Germany, France and the UK, and Transcontinental is publishing some more of my pieces this year (2019). On this page, you can search by many different categories; on another page, you can view the full music list at a glance.

Listen for free

All the pieces marked with A or V in the 2nd column have free Audio or Video recordings that you can access by clicking the song’s link. Remember the dropdown menu on the left allows you to view 10, 25, 50 or 100 entries – there are about 80 so far.

Buy the sheet music

All of the pieces are available to buy as sheet music. The keys and pitch ranges are indicated on the table on this page, and sold in those keys. If you would like a piece transposed, just let me know, as I can do this quite easily with my software.

Please don’t write your own arrangements, as this would infringe my copyright, and undermine my livelihood. I am happy to write an arrangement of any of my pieces if you get in touch with me, and tell me what you need.

Search using keywords

You can use the search box on the right, just above the music list, to search for song titles (e.g. Modeh Ani), or types of music (e.g. round, duet, SATB, solo), or occasion (e.g. interfaith, healing). I’ve also included some links that will take you to pages of categorised lists of music, e.g. music for weddings, music for baby blessings, lifecycle events, Kabbalat Shabbat etc. If you want to see the music categorised according to whether it is a solo (or art song), duet, unison (congregation), choral, or a round, click here.

Commission me to write a song

I also compose for commissions, so please get in touch if you would like something written specifically for an event in your community, or a lifecycle event.
