| 8 May, 2022 Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford | Commemoration service arranged by the Diocese of Oxford in association with the Oxford Jewish Congregation, marking 800 years since anti-Jewish laws were introduced by the medieval church at the 1222 Synod of Oxford. The service offered a symbolic opportunity to apologise for the historic actions of the Church which saw English Jews ostracised and led to a mass expulsion in 1290. The service also marked the positive reframing of Christian-Jewish relations in more recent times. My choral arrangement of a traditional Hineih Mah Tov was sung at the service. |
| 4 May, 2022 Sheldonian Theatre, Oxford | Concert marking the 150th anniversary of the Universities Tests Act, 1871, by which Oxford University finally removed all religious restrictions to membership. This concert includes performances of Tashlich and Your People Will Be My People (Ruth & Naomi), and my choral arrangements of three traditional Jewish festival songs (Hayom T'amitzeinu, Mah Nishtanah, and Al Hanisim). |
